HSWCD’s Battle with Weeds

Here is a list of invasive plants we are fighting in Harney County. Many are harmful to humans or livestock or are wildfire hazards. All are pushing out native plant species that wildlife eat. The link below shows herbicide mixtures best for the area.

Yellow Star Thistle

Harmful to horses.
