The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) will hold a virtual Rulemaking Advisory Committee (RAC) meeting on November 4 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. During this meeting, the RAC will discuss potential revisions to OWEB’s Water Acquisition Grants Administrative Rules.  

Meeting Date: November 4, 2025, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm 

Register for Meeting here.  This committee meeting will be held virtually in Microsoft Teams. You must register to receive the meeting link. After the meeting, the recording will be posted on the OWEB Administrative Rules webpage.

Background 

At the July 2025 meeting, the OWEB Board authorized rulemaking for OWEB's Water Acquisition Grants program. OWEB’s Water Acquisition grant program provides funding to acquire from willing sellers interests in water to maintain or restore streamflows for the benefit of watersheds and habitat for native fish or wildlife 

Public Comment 

OWEB welcomes written and verbal public comment. 

Written Comments 

Written comments should be submitted through OWEB's online public form by 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 30. Written comments will be provided to the committee members before the meeting. 

Verbal Comments 

Verbal comments are limited to three minutes and will be heard in the public comment period at approximately 1:15 pm. Anyone interested in providing comments will be asked during the public comment period to alert organizers of their interest by using the raise-hand function in Teams.
