The Harney Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking bids for a 621.03-acre juniper removal project approximately 75 miles from Burns, OR,  in SE Harney County.  It consists mainly of phase II juniper on mild to moderate, sometimes rocky, slopes. and is divided into five units.

A mandatory bid tour is scheduled for Thursday, June 18th, 2026. Please expect a 5-hour bid tour, meeting at the Harney SWCD office at 8:00 am. An off-road vehicle is recommended.  A member of your company must be present for the tour.  

Bids will be due on June 24th at 12:00 noon.

The project start date will be June 26th, 2026, with completion expected by December 1, 2028, due to funding allocation and reporting constraints.
