2026 Northeast Oregon Rangeland Summit

We’re excited to invite you to the 2026 Northeast Oregon Rangeland Summit on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM at the La Grande Armory Conference Center.
Hosted by Wallowa Resources, Oregon State University, Western Landowners Alliance, and Sustainable Northwest, this FREE, full-day event with lunch is designed for producers, land managers, researchers, and community partners to connect and learn together.
This year’s summit will focus on:
- Grazing with Intent - how virtual fencing technology is transforming rangeland management
- Deliberate Water Use, Resilient Pastures, and Drought Readiness
- Growing the Next Generation of Rangeland Stewards
We’re also thrilled to welcome Chad Boyd, Range Scientist and Research Leader with the Agricultural Research Service, as our keynote speaker. Chad will share insights on applied rangeland science and management strategies for working lands in Northeast Oregon.
