The USDA is preparing for the 2023 Grasshopper season. On December 7th, ODA provided the 2022 Final Grasshopper Program Report

Action Timeline
January 15, 2023: Submit a Letter of request, Memorandum of Understanding, and a basic plan (include acreage estimate and method due)
March 1, 2023: Communication on NEPA considerations (that may limit treatment or any internal matters that will delay treatment a single day during the treatment window) should be complete.
Report hatchings and dispatch survey crews to your proposed treatment blocks. Within a week of the survey finalize your specific treatment request and any internal documents and submit to APHIS.
